In 2015 a full-service business park Kalasataman Kummeli started its activities at the eastern harbor in Helsinki, Finland. Old premises were completely renovated for a new purpose. Building owner, developer and provider of premises Lindström Invest chose ItuGraf radiant cooling system to ensure comfortable indoor climate.

Flexibility of the system is crucial when changes are needed
Before renovation cooling was carried out by supply air cooling which did not meet the modern requirements. Therefore, it was decided to change the cooling system. Existing heating system remained the same because the premises already had well-functioning radiator system. Of course, ItuGraf system could have been used for both cooling and heating of the premises.
Itula’s part of the project was implemented in two phases. First Itula delivered nearly 800 panels to the Business Park. When the needs of the client companies and the final floor plan of offices became clear we made the necessary tailored modifications. ItuGraf can be produced in all RAL colors, with smooth or perforated surface and according to the customer's requirements. In this building, we used panels with both smooth and perforated surface. The panels were installed in three panels modules. Together with the customer we found that this solution was the most suitable for customer’s purpose and needs.
In this type of premises, in addition to the ideal working environment, the flexibility of system is also important. Service life of renovated buildings is long but the tenants change and their needs change too. ItuGraf panels module meets the requirements of flexibility.
Efficient energy use saves the environment
